QR Code on a tomb

Tombs which are provided with a  QR Code you can see more often lately. QR codes allow an Internet-enabled phone or tablet a direct connection from the tomb to the Internet, where the visitor gets to a particular web page. This modern form of grief can already be expressed on exisiting graves by subsequently applying the QR code on a tomb locally on site.

QR Code on tombs fast and easy done!

In order to create a weather-resistant QR Code on natural stone and all similar materials, one must use a blasting method. Thanks to the innovative vacuum blast method a QR Code on tombs can be created fast, easy and clean. For the work with a vacuum blast machine neither special prior knowledge nor especial safety measures are required.

Vacuum blast machines of systeco are light, compact and can be easily transported. They have a very low noise level and are absolutely eco-friendly, which even makes a direct use at the cemetary possible. All it is required to apply QR-Codes on tombs with the vacuum blast machines of systeco, is the appropriate  blast medium (granulate) and a normal power conncetion.

In contrast to conventional techniques of tomb engraving, the vacuum blast method, is based on generated negative pressure. This pulls the granules from the storage container of the machine and accelerates it into the jet lance to 400 km / h. Because of the granulate hitting the tombs surface with high speed, the material is removed layer by layer. Using a template the QR-Code is engraved optically perfect and permanently on the tomb. The entire process takes place under the jet cap and can be observed through glass panes. Arised ablation residues are sucked off immediately and remain in the closed cycle of the machine in a filter system. Nothing can penetrate the environment.

Vacuum blasting simplifies work considerably

For the creation of QR Codes on tombs there are various possibilities. These can be hand carved, milled or blasted. But effective and fast is only possible with the patented vacuum blast method of systeco. That way QR codes, but also graphics and photos are applied in the workshop or directly at the cemetery on the stone. Even the finest details can be blasted in amazing depth.

At first the desired QR-Code must be generated on a PC, from there a sandblast foil ist created. This is just normally glued on to the granit surface. Afterwards the jet hood is placed onto the surface to be worked on and the suction unit is started. Because of the achieved negative pressure the jet hood sticks to the subsurface. The blast media is sucked through the jet lance to the surface and gets there with about 400 km / h. The suction takes the blast media right back in. Abrasive and removal are separated by cyclone principle. That way no dust develops during the blasting process, the work is eco-friendly and the blast media doesn´t have to be collected or swept back again. With the vacuum blast method you work in a permanent cycle. The used granulate can be re-used (up to 100 times).

All you need for blasting is a 230 V power connection - that´s enough. The work can be done by anybody. Special knowledge is not required. The closed circuit of the vacuum blast machine enables a dustfree work without protective clothes.
