Blast media (granules) for vacuum blasting
To operate the Tornado ACS cleaning machine blast media (granules) for vacuum blasting is needed. The granules differ in size and hardness. We offer as a matter of principle only high quality granules to our costumers, since those can be used approx. 100 times in a cycle. From our granulate application chart you can acknowledge which granulate is most suitable for the to-be-cleaned surface. To each granulate you can also find all relevant information on a data sheet.
Nutshell NS 450 consists of grinded wallnutshell with a grain size of 0,2 - 0,45 mm. This granulate is mostly used for polished surfaces, as marble or granite. The nutshell granulate can also be used on glass but a thoroughly cleanup of the machine is required, since residues of other granules can scratch the glass. (data sheet)

Jet glass SG 150 consists of broken glass with a grain size of 0,1 - 0,2 mm. This granulate is mostly used for the cleanup of light and sensitive surfaces. Which are EIFS facades, finery, paint, natural stones, and brick. (data sheet)

Jet glass SG 300 consists of broken glass with a grain size of 0,2 - 0,3 mm. The blast media is mostly used on light and hard surfaces. Which are floor tiles, hard burned clinker, concrete, hard wood, and granite. (data sheet)

Asilit AS 180 mainly consists of silica and aluminum oxide with a grain size of 0,04 - 0,18. It is mainly used for the cleaning of dark areas, such as brick, natural stone and concrete. (data sheet)

Asilit AS 250 mainly consists of silica and aluminum oxide with a grain size of 0,09 - 0,25. It is used for cleaning hard natural stone (eg. granite) and burnt clinker. On sensitive base coats this blasting media can cause damages. (date sheet)
