Tornado ACS 30 (100 V~) Japanese Version
The Tornado ACS 30 is specially designed for Japan, with an AC voltage of 100~V. The number 30 describes the maximum power of 3,000 W. To use this power, the socket used must be fused with at least 30A. If the fuse rating is lower, only 2 motors can be used. If a genset is used, it should be single-phase for 4,000 W output power.
The mobile vacuum blasting machine Tornado ACS 30 is based on a worldwide patented vacuum blasting process which was designed as a mobile mobile cleaning device, no larger than a conventional industrial vacuum cleaner.
The vacuum blasting unit contains a vacuum generator with corresponding filter cartridge and dust separation as well as the associated containers for the blast medium. Further system components of the cleaning machine are the jet hood and the jet lance.

Area efficiency of the vacuum blast machine
The area efficiency of the vacuum blasting unit Tornado ACS 30 depends strongly on the material to be removed and the hardness of the substrate. Therefore, the area output is 1.5 - 5.0 sqm/h depending on the application; in very light applications, the area output is even higher.
Functioning of the Tornado ACS 30 vacuum blast unit
The Tornado ACS 30 vacuum blasting unit is easy to assemble. All components are simply plugged together. When the vacuum generator is switched on, the abrasive is sucked out of the container and into the cleaning unit. The middle flap must then be opened and closed again so that the Tornado ACS cleaning machine is ready for use.
The blasting hood is placed on the work surface and adheres to the surface due to the negative pressure. A negative pressure of approx. 150 mbar is generated in the jet hood. The circuit is closed with the introduction of the jet lance into the blasting hood. The blasting medium is sucked in by the lance and accelerated to approx. 400 km/h. The blasting medium is then blown into the blasting hood. At this speed, the abrasive hits the surface to be processed, which is cleaned, decoated or roughened as required.
This process can be optimally controlled by the operator via three viewing windows. The abrasive is sucked off immediately after hitting the working surface with the removed particles. In the cleaning machine, the dirt particles are separated from the granulate by a filter system. The abrasive is then returned to the storage container for further processing. Due to this closed circuit, the cleaning device has a minimum granulate consumption. The Tornado ACS 30 vacuum blasting unit operates at a low noise level (75 db) not louder than a conventional industrial vacuum cleaner. The unique minimally abrasive vacuum blasting process is patented.
Appliactions for the vacuum blasting unit
The Tornado ACS 30 vacuum blast unit is primarily used for the following applications:
- graffiti removal
- facade cleaning
- floor cleaning
- tile and grout cleaning
- efflorescence removal
- lime removal
- sandstone cleaning
- boat cleaning
- fire damage restoration
- decoating and paint stripping
- listed surface cleaning

Advantages of the cleaning machine Tornado ACS 30
The Tornado ACS 30 cleaning machine has many advantages over conventional sandblasting or a high-pressure cleaner. The most important of these are:
- simple handling (no specialized staff necessary)
- fast setup and dismounting (max. 5 minutes)
- transport possible in any vehicle
- only 120V~/20 A power connection necessary
- low noise level, da it works without compressor
- protective clothing is not necessary
- no use of water and chemicals (very eco-friendly)
- environmentally friendly due to the closed cycle
- working in public business (barriers not necessary)
- blasting media can be reused up to 80 times (low cost for consumables)
- no hazardous waste in the disposal
- in winter with frost useable
